Vlaamse site in Vlaanderen (Borgerhout, Antwerpen)

ANTWERP is the busiest port of Europe



• It can be situated in the Nord of Flanders on the river Schelde
• Borgerhout is a part of Antwerp, 20 minutes walking from Central Station
• you can walk along mainstreet : Carnotstraat ....
• after 5 minutes, the name of the street changes in Turnhoutsebaan
• when tired take TRAM 10 or 24 or any bus ...they all stop in the neighbourhood of our church
• Stenenbrug is at a distance of 400 meter from EXIT nr ...
• Our highway has been build in the old waterring around the city
• so, climbing out the BORGERHOUT exit ... look for the church

• coming from the East : Eindhoven, Turnhout, Luik, Germany

• at Exit Borgerhout, turn left at traficlight before the railway
• and drive on (300m) to next trafic light
• there take a right turn and there you are at "Stenenbrug"

  coming from the North (Breda, Amsterdam) or South (Brussels, Gent)

• at 100 meter is the railway, drive straight to it, but don't go underneath
• Take a left turn and leave railway on left hand for 300 meters
• there is the next trafic light, take your left turn, go under the bridge and look for a parking place. You are at "Stenenbrug"

  As you can see, coming from out the city of Antwerp, don't go under the railway bridges ... you realy must take the right entrance. Each port goes to another part of the city... so, adjust to our church !

  • Whatever you collect, I take in exchange all kind of cards :
  • playing cards, trade cards, map-cards, identity cards, telephone cards,
  • menus, calendars, albums, cinderellas, shipping related brocante
  • olympic related, sports related ... al kind of fotos (not cut outs from magazines)
  • these lists are not restricted, anything old goes ....but no newspapers, magazines or loose torned out pages
